A classic Austin Healey 100 rolls down the drive into the AutoMotorPlex campus, its bright red and contrasting grey paint and brilliant chrome grille sparkling in the sun. Behind it, a sleek and sinister black Lotus Evora glides through the rows of cars, looking for a parking spot. As the lot fills up with beautiful British cars, you can tell it's going to be a good day.

As I was admiring all of the fine British automobiles, I suddenly noticed a stir at the entrance to the MotorPlex and I picked up the faint sound of Beatles music as a green Jaguar MkII made its way towards the crowd carrying the Beatles cover band that would liven up the afternoon!

They were kind enough to pose with their adoring fans in between sets.

While waiting for the band to take the stage, my friend Drew offered to take me for a quick spin in his incredible Caterham Superlight track toy! What a blast! 

When we got back to the MotorPlex, I had a brief moment to catch my breath before going up on a scissor lift to take some photos from a higher vantage point.

I made it inside just in time to catch the band's last set of the afternoon, a great way to wind down after a fun day of enjoying some beautiful British cars, fish & chips, and music.
