 I've been hoping to shoot the new BMW 1M Coupe for a while now. With only 4 in the state, and 800 sold worldwide, I realized it would be hard to find one. Back in September, I missed my first chance to shoot a Jerez Black 1M Coupe when the owner came by the dealership to pick it before the doors even opened. I've been waiting patiently ever since for what would be my last chance to shoot a 1M before all customer cars were spoken for and my odds dropped even more.

When I got the email that the last 1M to be delivered in Minnesota had landed, I knew I had to make it work. This particular car was ordered for European delivery, wherein the owner specced and ordered the car in the US, and then flew to Germany and picked up the car in Munich. The only stipulation being that the car must be delivered back to the factory or shipping port in two weeks when the temporary insurance ran out to be shipped back to the US. The owner has been waiting for  six long weeks to pick up his car that he got only a taste of on the beautiful roads around Germany. Being Halloween night however, I didn't have a lot of time as those responsible for the car were leaving early. Despite my limited time, I tried to make the most of it.
