Porsche 934 Race Car
One of just 31 cars built for customers wanting to go racing in 1976 (10 more would be built for the 1977 season), the Porsche 934 and its massive, human head-sized turbocharger paved the way for Porsche’s endurance racing success at Le Mans, Daytona, and Sebring throughout the 1970’s and 1980’s. This example, wearing the iconic Jägermeister livery has had quite an illustrious racing career, including two entries into the 24 Hours of Le Mans during its heyday. Weighing less than 2,500 lbs and producing more than double the 240 hp of a standard 930 Turbo of the era, the 934 was no slouch on track.
